Tasting of 1998 Chateau Puygeraud. I have been disappointed with this wine and strongly disagree with WineSpectator’s rating of 90 points by James Suckling. The wine has low fruit but high level of thick and coarse tannin which is troublesome. Rating 85-87 points.
